Our History
Founded in 2004 by Guy Haas, a United States Marine Corps veteran, TeamEDA started as a value-added-reseller for software and hardware companies. After three years, it was clear a comprehensive tool was needed to manage software licenses, incorporating both floating licenses like FlexLM’s, as well as node-locked and named-user licenses.
TeamEDA then began working with an electronics company and two large aerospace companies to develop software for their license asset management needs. This project led to the release of the first version of the License Asset Manager with Usage Monitoring (LAMUM) in 2007.
