Installation Prerequisites (Windows)

LAMUM NX.1.3 Minimum Server Requirement.

  • Microsoft Windows Server 2019
  • Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox. Internet Explorer is strongly not recommended.

LAMUM NX.1.3 Update Prerequisites.

Prerequisite Steps – Backup, SSL, and SSO
  • Take a backup of LAMUM database from Usage > Admin > Backup Interval & Location. Open LAMUM Backup folder in file explorer and compare current backup size with older backups, should be steadily increasing in terms of file size. Please do not proceed with update if backup size is not growing, contact TeamEDA support.
  • Make copies of files to any other location:
    • Windows path: C:\LAMUM\cron\cron.tab
    • Windows path: C:\LAMUM\apache\htdocs\lammonitor\conf\config.php.
  • If HTTPS/SSL and LDAPS are configured, then take a backup of the folders and files to another location,
    • Windows path: “C:\LAMUM apache\conf” folder to another location.
    • Windows path: ldap.conf file in “C:\LAMUM\php\”
  • If you have SSO conffigure then please contact TeamEDA before upgrading.
LAMUM NX.1.3 Rehosting/Migration
  • If you are migrating your old LAMUM to a new server then please take a backup of LAMUM database from Usage > Admin > Backup Interval & Location. Open LAMUM Backup folder in file explorer and compare current backup size with older backups, should be steadily increasing in terms of file size. Please do not proceed with migration if backup size is not growing, contact TeamEDA support.
  • Please do not decommission your old LAMUM Server until the new server is stable with the restored backup.
